Different types of energy sources ( electrical, mechanical, hidraulic, etc…) in machines or equipments can be hazardous for the workers. During service and maintenance of machines and equipment, an unexpected startup or release of stored energy can result in serious injury or death to workers. LOTO is a safety procedure used in industry to ensure that dangerous machines are properly shut off and not able to be started up again before the maintenance, repair work or setting is completely finished. We can interfere by locking out the fitting physically by mechanical devices.
